There aren't a lot of records that remain from the old TrailRidge days. But recently (summer 2020) I discovered a box of file cards complete with names, basic address and age info, and in some cases a photo attached. These cards were used to help sort boys into cabin groups and also served as a quick reference after each summer. In all, I found just over 400 photos. There were some photos with names on the back of the photos but not attached to a card. And there were several cards with no photos.
I have no clue how many different boys attended TrailRidge because those records were all tossed. (That's a different story altogether). There's a chance boys (now men) will see themselves in a camp activity photo but don't see themselves in the new Camper Photos Pages just posted. You can remedy that by sending me your name, city/state and either describe which photo you're in...or do a "save as JPG" and send that to me.
Looking at these photos as I was scanning, it's hard to imagine that all of these "boys" are now in their 40s and 50s.
These photos are in not in order of dates attending camp. Except for Page 1, the rest are in alphabetical order for each successive page.
If you are one of our campers and do not wish to be pictured (assuming I have a photo for you), then please notify me and I'll remove your photo immediately. Send your request to [email protected].
