I don't know what brought this to mind? I was in the hospital for some outpatient surgery this week and I guess seeing lots of needles reminded me of the BUG-JUICE SHOTS we used to give at TrailRidge. Or, at least we pretended to give. Does anyone remember those? Anyone have any different recollections they wish to share? This is, after all, the 30th Anniversary of our first year in Buladean.

About three weeks ago I noticed a new TrailRidge Facebook friend - Stewart Fleming. That's Stewart in the photo above (left). And that's Ray Thompson with the beard and hillbilly hat second from right. Don't remember the year of this photo but certainly early 1980s. Stewart now lives in Montana and this summer Ray & I along with 20 boys and a couple of other leaders will be in Montana. Hope we can have a little TrailRidge reunion with Stewart.
This coming summer, by the way, will be the 30th anniversary of the founding of TrailRidge Mountain Camp. More about that in later posts. |
